Martin Small Principal Dentist
I am truly passionate about my profession and giving my patients the best possible care.
Education is an important aspect of my career and I am heavily involved in post graduate studies in the UK and Ireland. I have completed advanced training in Advanced Sedation Techniques, Pain Management and Implants in the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (view certification). I aim to bring this skill set to my patients.
My special interests in dentistry include Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) using the most modern and effective rotary instrumentation, Adult Orthodontics using fixed braces, Implant surgery and restoration with all ceramic crowns using the Nobel Biocare System, and the use of advanced sedation techniques for the nervous patient.
I regularly attend basic life support courses. I am certified as a life support provider (July 2018).
In 2012 I moved into the area of Facial Aesthetics and I am fully trained and certified in advanced facial injectable treatments for fine lines and wrinkles as well as preventative anti-wrinkle treatments.
I recently attended an advanced masterclass course with the world renowned Dr Kate Goldie in Harley Street, London and I am now one of a handful of aesthetic practitioners trained in the use of cannula for advanced filler treatments with minimal downtime and risk of bruising and swelling.
